First the serious stuff. About 20 years ago Marea and Mark started working in the Food and Beverage industry. They did not start together, but years later their paths would cross along with the excitement they bring for fun, food and friends! They themselves became great friends after working in restaurants together, while discovering
First the serious stuff. About 20 years ago Marea and Mark started working in the Food and Beverage industry. They did not start together, but years later their paths would cross along with the excitement they bring for fun, food and friends! They themselves became great friends after working in restaurants together, while discovering that they shared these same interests for fun, food and friends.. After a shift one night, Mark sent a text to Marea to say, "All we need is a small kitchen somewhere, and we can make great food, good times and even more friends." A very short few minutes later Marea responded to that text with an opportunity to open a cafe inside of a unique location. It was inside a salon and spa. A quick four weeks after that, we now have Our Happy Place Cafe!

We may be a small cafe, but we will soon be catering with the best of them. But, only because Marea has mad experience in catering! She has had the opportunity to work with some great chefs in some great hotels and a private country club! She plans on bringing HAPPY to catering!
